Fred Harvey Belt Earrings
These earrings are so special! When I was in Tucson for the world famous gem show, I found a Fred Harvey belt and knew that I would be able to make earrings from the links of the belt. Fred Harvey pieces were made in the first half of the twentieth century and sold to the tourists that flocked to the American Southwest during that time. These earrings are hand stamped silver and slightly and naturally age-darkened to a perfect patina (I decided to leave them as-is, but you could buff them out to a really high shine if you wanted.)
This light-weight pair of earrings features hand-formed and hammered oxidized sterling silver earwires.
Earrings measure 1.75 inches below the earwires and are very lightweight. Don't be surprised - be sure and pay attention to the measurements provided!
